What we collect and why
- Enquiries, demo and switching-help requests: your name, email, optional phone and company, and what your business needs. Used to reply and recommend software. Lawful basis expected: steps at your request / legitimate interests (to be confirmed by the operator).
- Sharing with software vendors: only if you tick the separate vendor-sharing box, and only with approved vendors (or the ones you name). You can withdraw this from your account at any time; vendors then lose access to the enquiry in this app.
- Accounts: email, optional display name and company, saved tools and comparisons, and a record of your consent choices.
- Spam and abuse protection: a one-way, salted fingerprint of your connection that changes daily. We do not store your raw IP address.
- Optional usage counts: only if you switch them on in cookie settings. We store the event name (for example “search”) and, where relevant, a catalogue id — nothing that identifies you.
Marketing
We do not send marketing emails. Vendor sharing is a separate choice from marketing. If marketing is ever added it will need its own opt-in, as the ICO’s direct marketing guidance requires.
Where data is stored
In the site’s Lovable Cloud database and authentication service. Sign-in with Google is optional. Email delivery is not yet switched on; messages wait in a queue until an email provider is configured.
How long we keep it
Retention periods have not yet been set by the operator. This is a launch blocker.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Contact the operator using the details above.
